@rmccool: when the duck has the images fixed i'll get the links there, I could find some of them here too about Robert Goodwind, as much of its in LWD and if i am not mistaken that particular page is in this hosting site's LWD as well.. That particular page I have referenced a good amount, its neat seeing both of Lan's fathers like this...

edit: nope its only on the duck, if that page was titled i still may find it before the fix

History ... Hmm...

Forced relocation to a new home
Find on arrival that you can't own land
Not considered a "person" or having any rights
No protection from local "mob" by police
...

I think we've seen this happen before. Kinda leads to unpleasent things a generation later.

Hmm, and now Lan is on the revenge path for all this?

History. Over and over.

@Cheerful_dragon: No not a revenge path, not for this anyways, it was when his influence on the issue started, now its much much more, he started his involvement in the war when his children were taken and sold, by someone who took the freewill of Sha-ti Highwind, his zombie cousin and used him to capture them to hurt Lan indirectly, he was unable to get to many of them in time, however that is where Puck entered the story... Now though, realizing humans will take notice of force as no laughing matter, and that he had some degree of success in making people see they're people too (ie the Omaha (then) deputy, the Sheriff was a power hungry A-hole who was under the delusion that doing his apparent job would make him the mayor, he got the axe of self-defense when he tried to kill Lan when he was by a tree with one of his kids who wasn't potty trained yet) after seeing his minor victory he began freeing his people from everywhere he could, the deaths resulting were not out of revenge but defense, he has for the most part actively avoided unnecessary death, even if it may seem out of Warmwinds prompting, it really isn't entirely he could have killed all the non-pooka at the farm the people he was escorting to safety and freedom were at VERY quickly, and yet he left a bitch of an elf alive who didn't know the difference between a phone and a club or see herself as being about the same height as the "huge dragon" that knocked her out with it, and added the detail about how Lan "Ripped [his] own heart out and ate it" Lan knows there is no justice obtainable in life for the crimes against his people committed in the 300 years from when it started to the present, and doesn't seek it, rather he seeks to put an end to those crimes, after all few are alive that realize the horrors they are promoting with their pooka product commodities, to them pooka are mindless animals, cant fault them for their miss-education.
